A single-family residence with spacious garden and luminous interiors
This single-story villa, designed by MIDE architetti, is the result of a careful integration between functional layout and optimal lot orientation. Situated in a flat area rich in historic villas, the residence interprets the relationship between modern architecture and local tradition with an essential and refined design language.

The organization of the volume takes full advantage of the lot: the more private spaces are shielded from the street, while large south-facing glass walls open onto the private garden. This results in two distinct façades: a porch-facing side oriented towards the countryside and a compact, screened north-facing elevation.
The building presents itself as a sandblasted concrete monolith, in contrast with the transparency of the large openings. Inside, the layout is rational: the living area, with kitchen and lounge, extends outdoors through the porch, service rooms are grouped on the north side, and the sleeping area houses the bedrooms, including a master suite with bathroom and walk-in closet overlooking the park.
Publications
The home integrates sustainability and comfort solutions to meet contemporary living needs. Solar panels installed on the roof contribute to energy self-sufficiency, while the entire structure is enveloped in a thermal insulation system that minimizes heat loss and ensures high indoor comfort in every season.
Additionally, a rainwater recovery system has been implemented to irrigate the garden, together with solar shading devices that naturally regulate sunlight and interior brightness.

The choice of materials, both durable and carefully selected, combined with attentive construction details, creates a residence that balances sobriety and elegance, offering welcoming and refined spaces. The strong dialogue between interior and exterior, facilitated by large glass openings and the porch, amplifies the perception of space and makes the surrounding nature a constant presence in everyday life.
