The penthouse is located in an existing residential building in the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The dwelling is distributed over three of the four levels of the building, one on the basement floor and the other two on the upper floors of the building. The entrance is on the first floor where we find the sleeping area consisting of four double bedrooms and three bathrooms.

A scenic staircase leads to the second floor where the living area is located.

On the right side of the staircase is the dining room with the open kitchen: the black marble peninsula separates and at the same time unites the dining table for six and the kitchen with modern lines.

Opposite the dining room is the living area with a large sofa and designer armchairs in direct communication with the terrace opposite and the view of the mountains. 

In the basement we find a further living area with a dedicated bathroom. 

These rooms, dislocated from the main flat, can be used as an independent unit by opening up the sofa bed. 

The reconfiguration of the interiors was guided by the desire to create rooms with a contemporary and minimalist flavour without betraying the traditional spirit of the place.

The main vertical elements are clad in wenge oak, while the suspended ceiling and boiseries along the perimeter walls are clad in natural oak. In the bathrooms, the cladding is made of gre log, contrasting with the warm colours of the living areas. 

Particular attention has been paid to the designer furnishings which, together with the claddings, dress up the rooms, warming the atmosphere without betraying their contemporary soul.
